Classic table with straight-leg This image, and the other images above, demonstrate a straight-leg version of a table build. Straight-legs are routed (as opposed to being turned on a lathe). The straight-leg illustrated is a hexagonal shape - although there are many variations that can be created. The dimensions of the leg will be determined by the size and weight of the finished table. In this example we have a 5" square leg-block to take an 8ft x 4ft table. A straight-leg is easier to produce and therefore will be less expensive than a turned-leg The images below also provide an example of a custom cloth. There are many designs available. It is also possible for you to create your own design providing it is not in breach of copyright.
